  • Lots of Work and Little to Show for it

I'm going to have to go Colonel Sanders on this video stuff. I've been putting out videos weekly for the past...4 months I think. I work anywhere from 10 to 30 hours per week on the videos and get crap for views. The 2 highest view counts are around 4600 and 1500 with the average being between 50 and 100. I don't want to spam link posting sites and get banned from them and my content isn't easy to find forums on related content because it's pretty obscure. I'm currently searching for more ways to get the content viewed by audiences that would appreciate it. I think a good portion of it is entertaining. So...I'll post the latest video here and hope that at least a couple people watch it.

  • Blogging Was the Past. Vlogging is Now!

The most recent vlog of mine. I've been making them for just over a month now. Wednesdays seem to be the days I do them lately. Having weekly material will be helpful I think. I just need to find a way to become more community based and get some subscribers who are interested in what I have to say and the videos that I want to make.

  • Bad Dream

Had a short amount of sleep and a crappy dream last night. A family of 2 brothers, a mother and a father. One of the brothers was forced into the military by his father, came back and was screwed up in the head. Dude gets in an argument with his parents and runs off into another room, mother follows. Turns the corner to the room where he was, broken mirror on the door. Door opens, brother walks out with a giant piece of the mirror in his neck. Dude killed himself. Not cool. This was in a house that was very similar to the house I used to live in a few years ago.

Also, it needs to not be so cold right now. I created an ear warming contraption that was intended to be used when it was dark because it looks stupid. Guess I'll have to break it out in daylight. Oh well. Muff what people think.

My hands are cold and I haven't even gone outside yet. Gloves should be on the agenda this weekend. _

  • It Starts With an Idea

    And ends with action.

The idea of using a bike as my primary transport has been stewing around in my head and I guess my car has decided to make me have to go through with it. Car repairs are near $1000 And I've already recently sunk $500 into it. It's to a point where the repairs aren't worth the undependable transportation and I just can't afford it. So my mom got me an early Christmas present by getting me a bike. It's pretty beast like. Needs a few tweaks but I think I can get used to it. I rode it home from the store I got it from, roughly 3 miles from home in about 15 minutes. Not all streets are bike friendly. I'll have to figure out where the best routes are away from main roads. I still have some gear to get to be able to use my bike whenever I'd need to. I got lights today while I had access to a car. I have a beast lock. Now I need a good book bag with a chest strap, a well made rain coat, and maybe a spare tire tube along with the tools to repair the tire. (sockets, mini pump, etc.) I have a feeling that the mix of riding my bike a minimum of 4 miles, 3 days a week and no longer using my bed as a computer chair will lead to much better health. I'm looking into finding replacements to sodas soon too. Now that I'll have roughly 250 more dollars per month, I can get some better beverages while still being able to save for another car.

Since I started listening to the Kyle Cease podcast, Kyle's Cult, I've decided to try to make changes to this lame life that I have going on right now. Any action will be better than the lack of action I'm taking right now. I basically need to stop procrastinating and jump into the flow of change. It should lead to a re-awakening of my creativity and allow for me to actually do something with my life. I'm looking forward to it.

Kinda tired. I'm gonna read some more Watchmen and sleep. _
